This year's D-Now was amazing. Guest praise band was
Matt Kinderick Band. Plus guest speaker Pastor Carl Higgins. Pastor
Higgins shared his heart on evangelism. (Remember the video "Hero"? Man,
that took forever to show).
1st Night--Why did Spiderman get bit by the spider?
We have a purpose, a look into laying our lives down for Jesus, the Ultimate
Hero!
2nd Night--Superman had his Kryptonite---Just like Lex
Luthor, the enemy has a plan to bring us down, but what are his weapons?
What should I look out for? Understand God is our source of strength.
When people make fun of you or something that is not normal to the world but is
right with God, LEARN TO STAND!
3rd Day--So what now?---I learned a lot so what do I do
with it? How do I keep it? For a lot of us we know what we need to
do to keep our relationship strong with God (by knowing His Word) but we've got
to have "DISCIPLINE" Every Hero has a responsibility with all the power
they receive. Peter Parker's uncle said to him "with great power comes
great responsibility." Go and change the world.
